Tulips & Champagne

Good afternoon,

I am actually looking at all blue skies at the moment:)  I hope your day is going well.  We are dealing with sugar ants, millions of sugar ants.  I am going CRAZY!  After much research on line I went to get yet another bait called Terro.  I put them out last night.  There was a traffic jam worse than the Sunset highway at rush hour with the ants trying to get the liquid in the traps.  It was all I could do not to kill them all right then and there.  The internet says to be patient and I am trying my best.  I have never delt with sugar ants before.... YUCK!  If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

As you can see I changed around the look of my blog and would love to hear what you think.

Before you look at the beautiful tulips I got last Friday, I thought I would mention that Champagne is on sale at Winco, this brand was $3.98, wow, what a deal:)  I don't drink wine so I like to have a glass of champagne sometimes at night.  After opening, just leave it uncorked in the refrigerator.  It will last 3-4 days.

Last Friday my friend Anna took me to VanderZanden Tulip Farm and here is the address: 2551 NE Nova Ave.  Hillsboro, OR 97124.  You go to their little stand and pick out the color of tulips already cut for you fresh that day.  You get 10 for $4.50.  They take cash or check on the honor system.  I usually don't buy tulips because they don't last very long.  I took these pictures yesterday which was 6 days since I bought them.  Just look how lovely they still are... thanks Anna for taking me there:)
