Egyptian cotton & whales

Good afternoon,

I got stuck in a hale down pour.  I forgot how loud they can be.  At my new hair dresser, I learned that I have been sleeping on the wrong pillowcase my whole life.  You all probably know this, but I didn't.  It is better for your hair to sleep on pillowcases that are either satin or 100% Egyptian Cotton with a 600 thread count or higher.  For three weeks I have scouted out my discount stores, Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Tuesday Morning with no luck.  When I went to Macy's they had the Egyptian cotton ones for $100 for 2 pillowcases.  I never knew people would spend that much money for such a little thing.  Anyhooo, I wasn't going to spend that much so I kept looking.  Today at TJ Maxx I found 100% Egyptian Cotton pillowcases with 1000 thread count for only $16.99.  I snatched them up.

I am washing them now and will let you know if my hair looks amazing in the morning:)

While out and about I found this wooden whale on a pole:

I got out my trusted white spray paint:

Went outside and painted.

Lucky for me I bought fast drying paint because after I went to get it 10 minutes later, it started to pour down rain!

I told you a while ago that there is a whale sign near where we stay in Maui that I LOVE.  This will have to do for now:)

Happy Monday to you.

Dena
