This & that

Today while at my favorite stop, Goodwill, I saw this adorable lamb.

The price was $9.99.  Those of you who know me know I usually don't ask for a price to be lowered at Goodwill but this adorable lamb had had her ears re glued and is missing a tail.  I nicely asked why it was so expensive, and they quickly lowered it to $6.99.  I still felt this was too much to pay and asked if they could make it $4.99 as is and thankfully they agreed and she was mine:)  I was so happy they lowered the price because I really like her and I know she really wanted to come home with me, now we are both happy.

I don't know about you but when I put something together and I don't like how it looks, I am unable to leave it for long.  This was true of this basket I found at Goodwill.  It originally had a handle on it which I had my wonderful husband remove.  I went to Cornell Farms and found little plants to go in the basket and scrounged around my back yard for moss.  This is what it looked like:

Even after adding shells around the edge, I still didn't like it.  Don't tell my husband pleeeeeeaaaase.

Today I found another container to put my plants in and a cute beach babe to hot glue to the top.  I put half of the plants in the new container and got one of my million baskets to create this:

Much better!  All is right with the world.

I put the other half of the plants in a candle holder:

I think plants look pretty good in here.
I hope you are having an amazing Tuesday.
