Chandeliers

I don't know about you but to me there is something about a pretty chandelier that makes me smile.  I got my dining room chandelier from Ballard Designs and amazingly didn't  have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

I had fun decorating it:)  At Christmas time there is such a variety of pretty ribbon.  I bought two different types and wrapped it around the chandelier.  I also took ribbon and folded it in half and used my great aunts vintage brooches to pin them together.  I love the way it looks and am so lucky my husband isn't bothered by my girliness:)

This chandelier took many months of researching and looking on the web.  I am sure I paid way too much for it but in the end, it is exactly what I wanted.  I used the burlap garland from Michaels as well as the paper roses from Michaels to decorate.  I used silver glittered letters to spell out dream and used my glue gun to glue it to tinseled ribbon.

I hope you are having a sunny Monday.  Sammy is home sick so I guess I will be cleaning, ughhhhhh:(
