Sammy's Flowers

If you haven't taken a trip down to Sammy's Flowers off of NW 21st right next to Trader Joe's, I highly recommend it.  Next time I go I will have to take my camera.  They are a true florist with many unique flowers that you can buy by the stem.  It was a difficult decision but here is what I got:

I cannot remember names, but they came from sunny California.  After this lovely store my friend and I went to another fave store Anthropologie where I found this:

Imagine my surprise when the price said $8.00!  I grabbed it and secretly looked at the other prices to see if they had tagged it wrong.  All of the pots were $8.00, I think someone might be getting a talking to because there is no way that they were supposed to sell these for $8.00.  A kitchen towel there is $18!  If you love this, you may want to hurry before they realize their mistake:)

I think we all need a little cheering up with some flowers after the weather we have been having:)
