Off to the beach we go:)

A friend & I took my kids to the beach yesterday.

It stayed overcast all day.

I love seeing the life guards!

It feels like maybe we are somewhere sunny

My children won't tell me who's idea it was

to NOT make a sand castle

but to make a

prison!

Each of those holes on the hill are

prison cells.

All of the white broken shells are people.

I was quite disturbed that they couldn't make a nice

castle.

I explained that whoever came up with this idea might

need therapy!

I am sorry that I don't know how to turn this picture around.

Love to see my kids so happy though:)

No trip to Seaside is complete without a trip to Dairy Queen for

HAPPY HOUR:)

They were in heaven.

I cannot ever get enough of the beach.

Even if it is windy & cold.

I didn't find any shells on the beach

but found a lot of driftwood

and cannot wait to see what my brain comes up with

to create out of it.
