Happy Monday morning to you:)
At church Saturday night our pastor
challenged us to see God's goodness each day.
He encouraged us to look around at all of the
beauty that is our life.
Yesterday was my family picnic in Hood River.
On the way our family stopped at
Multnomah Falls for a hike.
At first I thought
"I have been here a thousand times
my kids have been here many times
can't we go somewhere else?"
Mr. SSH felt we didn't have a lot of time
before the picnic so this is where we were to go.
Here we are before we started on our journey.
As I walked I looked downward to all of the plant life:)
Isn't that berry pretty?
Look at that view.
How blessed we are to live in such a pretty area:)
Sammy's knee was hurting so we ended
our journey early.
Here is the rest of the family.
They made it to the top:)
My aunt & uncle have four acres in Hood River.
This is the view from their land.
Can you imagine seeing that every morning?
We saw many gliders during the afternoon.
Oh and do you spy that blue sky?
It was cloudy in Portland & beautiful in Hood River:)
This is their house and land.
My uncle is a log truck driver & loves antiques.
They have an under cover area where we ate.
It is quite fun to look at all of their antiques:)
It is like stepping back in time.
Yesterday I definitely seized the day to see beauty:)
My challenge for you today is to see beauty in everything:)
~Dena:)
