I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I spent part of the day at Cornell Farms Nursery. If you haven't had an opportunity to visit, it is worth the trip. All of their plants are beautiful and vibrant. I wanted to buy many more but felt that first I must tackle all of the weeds in my yard... UGH! Anyway, here are the three I picked:
I love the contrast of the leaves and the yellow blooms. I decided to keep this one inside.
As you can see, I have been lazy and haven't actually planted this. This plant is a salvia and the blue in the bloom reminds me of the beach:)
I loved how dainty this plant is :) Don't look at the weeks in the background.
I hear that maybe tomorrow and Wednesday will be nice. Maybe the next time you see pictures of my backyard there will be less weeds and more flowers:)
