Beer battered onion rings

Good Sunday to you:)

We just got back from a great church camp out. I am waiting on some pictures so I will post pictures tomorrow:) I wanted to share a fun, amazing thing I made:

Beer battered onion rings:). Try to not notice my dirty stove... YIKES!

I used this mix and added a beer.

I know this isn't rocket science... But this girl hasn't EVER fried anything in a frying pan...EVER!

I learned a trick from a friend that you all probably know:

Slice the onions and lay them on a paper towel and blot dry before trying to dip them in the batter... 

They were so yummy!
