Oh Christmas tree

Last night we decorated our tree.

Here is our tree with just lights.

We had not a most joyful time choosing this tree😔

You see, I am mom to two teenage girls who have definite opinions of what they wanted the tree to look like. So Saturday afternoon we went to the tree farm. Immediately each daughter found their tree. Each tree was very wide! We don't have a big space to put a tree. We needed a skinny tree. Both girls were in tears hating the tree we decided on. I may have said we weren't going to get any tree because of the girls attitudes😁 this is when Dylan started crying:(  we did get the tree and all were silent the entire half mile home.

Last night was much more joyful☺

We had Christmas music playing and our favorite ornaments:)

One of our family traditions is to cut off a chunk of the trunk and sign it.

This is such a fun  tradition☺

Mr. SSH made me this foil star when we were dating and we still use it each Christmas:)

It was Sammy's year to put it on the tree.
