Pillow love.

Happy wet Monday to you:)
I hope you are enjoying our change in weather.
I am unsure how I feel about it.
It is fun to go to bed at night with the
pitter patter of rain on my windows.
It is fun to watch the leaves fly off of the trees.
It is fun to be cozy inside and watch it rain.
It is fun when your 3rd grader is soaked to the bone
from soccer in the rain and he thinks the rain was fun.

It is not fun to put real shoes on.
I am rebelling and still in my flip flops:)
It is not fun when you have to walk out to a soggy,
muddy field to get your 3rd grader from practice.
It is not fun when you forget a coat and umbrella.

What are your thoughts on the rain?

I just had the best girls weekend get together
at the beach.
This group of girls range in age from 43 - 73.
We have three of us in our 40's
three of us in our 50's
one in our 60's
and one in our 70's.
The wisdom I gain each and every time I
get together with these wonderful girls is priceless!
We spent a lot of time shopping and I really only found
one treasure to bring home.
We stopped at the Blue Heron Cheese farm in Tillamook
for lunch.
They  have wonderful food, wine and lots and lots of fun
treasures to lure you in.
As many of you know, I am quite fond of  pillows.
I found this pillow and couldn't leave it in the store:

This is an ode to my amazing husband, Mr. SSH.
He spent over eight hours this weekend trying to
put my powder room sink in.
It still isn't done!
He is wonderful!
I LOVE this saying:)

I hope you are well!

~Dena:)
