Date day in downtown Portland.

Happy sunny Sunday to you:)
Yesterday Mr. SSH & I had an all day date:)
We were supposed to go to the Oregon State football game
but the game was cancelled because the team they were playing
was from Louisiana and they were still dealing with
hurricane Issaic.
We decided to still spend the day together in Portland.

This is Mr. SSH car:)
It is seventeen years old and fabulous!
This was our transportation for the day:)

I was hungry and thought we could go to lunch first
Mr. SSH wasn't.  We had to start our date with me
getting some food:)
I am addicted right now to egg, cheese & ham sandwiches.

A stop to Starbucks was in order.

Thankfully the traffic was heavy & I got to take pictures
on the way to downtown Portland.

There is nothing like a sunny day in downtown Portland:)

The houses in Portland are amazing!

The details are so beautiful.

I talked Mr. SSH into stopping by Goodwill.
We are in need of a soccer ball for Dylan & soccer shoes
for Sam.  We found shoes but no balls.
I had to go to the bathroom sooooo bad but if you have ever been
to this Goodwill you would know why I couldn't go here.

So of course I talked Mr. SSH into using the bathroom
at Pottery Barn:)
We did have a little look around while we were there.

Mr. SSH surprised me by suggesting we go into Restoration Hardware:)

He also suggested we walk around NW 23rd.
I LOVE NW 23rd!

In 3 Monkey's I spied a collection of bottle openers.

Mr. SSH agrees with this:)
I am a horrible cook!
After walking around NW 23rd we got in our car and drove to the Pearl.

I love this building on Burnside.

My favorite place to dance:)

Aren't the baskets beautiful?

We got to go in here:)

Mr. SSH suggested I cook in just this Anthropologie apron:)

We went to the Deschuttes Brewery for lunch.

Isn't he handsome?  !!!!!

This was a yummy place to eat and the beer was delish!

After eating we went to art in the Pearl.

We spied this.

Isn't it cute?
The door has drawings from a local elementary school.
Of course I had to try it....
So cute:)

We moved on to the waterfront for a long walk:)

We walked to Saturday market.

Our date ended at Mr. SSH favorite restaurant.

What an amazing day:)
I got to shop, eat, walk, and spend the day with a wonderful man!

I hope you enjoyed our tour of Portland.

We are off to hike in the gorge.

Enjoy your Sunday!
