Spring cleaning in Winter.

Happy sunny Tuesday.
As I was talking to Wayne about how other husbands in blog land have nick names the kids came up with his name:

Mr. SSH (seashell home).
What do you think?

Every March or April Mr. SSH and I are blessed to get away for a week without the kids.
This year we are leaving in early March.
My in laws come to stay and watch the kids for us.
I always try to declutter a bit before they come.
I don't know about you but the thought of someone looking in all of my closets/cupboards makes me cringe.
I started the declutter yesterday in my laundry room:

This girls is the ugly truth about my laundry room.
After hours of throwing away, recycling, goodwill piles it now looks like this:

I can breathe again:)

This was my walk in closet.
Yikes, it looks like an episode of Hoarders!

It still doesn't look great but at least we can walk inside:)

This morning I decided to go through my clothes and get a pile started to give to NWCO.

For some reason my camera isn't uploading this picture.
I filled two huge garbage bags with clothes.
Girls, I got rid of:
 28 skirts.
14 sweaters.
9 t shirts.
5 workout shorts.
6 sleeveless shirts.
3 jackets.
3 dresses.

YIKES!
I think someone likes clothes:_
My closets are much leaner as they should be.
The good news is that needy people are going to get the blessing of my love of clothes.

I feel I have shared too much today of my inside clutter.
Do you have closets like this?
I would love to know that I am not alone.

Hope your Tuesday is amazing!

~Dena;)
