Glittery pumpkins.

On a recent trip to Goodwill I spied these:

This bag of colorful clay pumpkins was 3.99.

I went to Michaels and bought two of these antique silver glitter glue by Martha Stuart.  I tried painting the glitter on but found I would need to completely douse these pumpkins to give them the true all silver glitter look.

Unfortunately I needed more than two bottles of glitter:)

Here is one that worked:)  I used a cereal box to place the pumpkins on to glue, next time I think I should use wax paper because the bottoms of my pumpkins have cardboard glued to them.

I love how the glitter shines!

I have two other good ones and two that will need more glitter.  This project was a bit pricier than I like.  I wonder if you have an amazing glitter that covers well without having to use so much on each item?  I look forward to your wisdom.
