Getting organized.

Good rainy Sunday to you:)


A friend of mine got married this weekend and seven of us put together her rehearsal dinner.  I loved getting all of my decor out to use.  I found myself going all over the house looking for my party decor.  When I collected it all I decided it was time to organize.  In my armoire is where a lot of my decor was:

It isn't pretty!  I hope I am making all of you feel great because you probably don't have areas of your house that look like this:)  I will be showing you more areas that need organizing soon.

Now I can use this cabinet when I have my cocktail parties for my glasses, vases, fun plates and napkins.

Here are a few pictures of the rehearsal dinner:

 You can't tell in this picture but we used my little port glasses for flower vases.  It was pretty but didn't take up a lot of room at each table.

Another thing you can't see in this picture is the little frames and napkin holders that were used to write down what each food item was.  I was able to use some of my vases, picture frames, linens, platters, ice buckets, and water pitchers.  I am excited to have some parties soon and try out my new organized storage system.

If you do have places in your house that look like mine, maybe this can help motivate you to organize:)
