I think they were used for ornaments on a tree.

I cut out some black and white pictures from this book.

I took off the red ribbon and added some that I had.

And hung them in my entry.

This has been a day to clean up messes! Does this ever happen to you? You think you are on top of things until you pick up a few things and next thing you know you have been picking up for four hours! My house isn't ever a huge wreck either! I know someday I am going to miss this four hour pick up so I MUST keep that in mind:) 

I was at Home Depot today and I spied some poppies. I can never seem to keep them alive outside so I decided to bring them inside:

I put them in this white metal container.

I LOVE how relaxed they look☺

They make me smile:)

Our oldest daughter and her friends got ready for MORP at our house today. MORP is when the girl asks the guy. The theme is the 50's:

It feels like yesterday when we moved in but our oldest was just two months old. Now she is almost 17 and we are taking pictures of her with a boy.... I didn't see that coming!

Suddenly I feel old! It feels like I was just going to a high school dance. Isn't it amazing how fast time goes?

These are times when Mr. SSH gets me a gooey card and tells me all sorts of sweet nothings😍 what could be better? I love giving out little gifts and I like finding cute cheap ways to wrap them:). Here is what I came up with:

Good icy Sunday to you:)

We have been in the snow since Thursday.  I don't know how people live like this for an entire winter! We are blessed to have studded tires and chains to get around. So... last night I decided Mr. SSH was taking me to Chevys for dinner and they were CLOSED! What good is it to get around if your favorite restaurant is closed? The first few days were fun and all but I am ready for dry roads!  Mr. SSH went out yesterday to take a few pictures:
