A trip to New Seasons today made me super cheery!  In the flower section I found these:

The other night Mr. SSH asked me how many strings of lights we needed..☺ Ummmmmmmm....... I don't think you can ever have enough! It is like having your room lit by candlelight.  I found these lights 50% off and I knew I would find a good home for them:

We are getting off to a slow start today. We sat on our front porch with coffee and a book for oh...... About two hours☺. We can't believe it is January!  We have had the most amazing weather here.  We even had to swoosh away a bee this morning!

I wanted to share with you a new find:

Yes... It is a cow.

When I first laid eyes on him I knew he was destined to hold a plant:)

I also found some fun ferns:)

They make me smile:)

They last a long time too.

I hope you haven't been blown away!

It is sooooo windy outside today!

If I sit on my front porch I am warmed by the sun and sheltered from the wind. I spent an hour this afternoon reading and soaking up the sun with my sunglasses on☺ Last weekend while in Gearhart I took a few pictures of some houses that I fell in love with:

Rolling lawn, front porch... Dreams of children playing filled my head:)

Front porch, sun... Sigh..... made me stop and smile☺

If you haven't visited this quaint community it is really worth your time to take a stroll!

The Governor Hotel and a party

I hope you are dry and warm!

It has been quite rainy and windy around here:(. Mr. SSH is happy because the mountain has doubled its snow level this week:) Last night we went to Mr. SSH's holiday work party. This year it was at the  Portland Art Museum. We stayed at the Governor Hotel and had a beautiful room.

Loved this base!

I am sooooo picky about hotel rooms and this one met all of my needs:) I would highly recommend this hotel and the parlor suite!

The art museum was decorated with fun gloves filled with lights. I need to find me some of these☺
