Hug Point

Good Monday to you:)
Our family spent the weekend camping
on the Oregon Coast.
I have lived in Oregon all of my life
and am amazed that there are so many cool places
I haven't been!

Hug Point is one place I hadn't been.
It is located right outside of Cannon Beach, Oregon.

I LOVE the three little waterfalls:)

There are cool caves to explore.

You can only get to most of this beach at low tide.

The kids had fun seeing the starfish and anemones.

Dylan had so much fun:)

Have you been to Hug Point?

Happy Monday

.99 happiness:)

Good Tuesday to you:)
I hope this day finds you happy and relaxed.
I have been seeing the blue canning jars all over the internet.
I haven't come upon any until today:

The blue color is so relaxing:)

I love this container so much better than an actual vase.

Isn't the blue better than clear?

Enjoy your Tuesday!

A day in the Columbia River Gorge

Good Sunday morning to you:)
I hope you enjoyed your beautiful Sunday!
We had a family reunion to go to in
Hood River, Oregon today.
We can't go through the gorge without at least a little hike:)
Today we went to:

After last weekends challenging hike
the girls wanted something less difficult.

Here is our first peek:)

Every

where

I

walked

was

so

amazing!

This is Bridal Veil Post Office.
Couples travel from all over to have their
wedding invitations postmarked from here:)

Driving to my aunt and uncles house
in Hood River is such a memorable part of my life.
Mt. Hood is RIGHT there!

One of my favorite things to do in Hood River
is walk around and look at all of the shops:)

They have the cutest little eateries there:)

Oh my goodness.......
Goodwill is coming to Hood River!

Look at that scenery!

It is super artsy.

Don't you want some of what they are having?
This place is super cute!
The light to the far left is made out of light bulbs.

After taking in downtown Hood River we headed
to the water front.

People come from all over the world to wind surf here.

We made a friend:)

I found shells:)

Dylan found rocks:)

Ahhhhhhhh....
Sigh.......
Just beautiful!

We ate dinner at this cute place:)

Another amazing view.

Dylan found this cool piece of driftwood.
Doesn't it look like a whale spouting?

We drove back on the Washington side.
The view takes my breath away!

We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful area!

Happy Sunday!

A garden party

Good Friday to you:)
I hope you have enjoyed your day so far.
I spent 6 1/2 hours garage saling!
I cannot believe how many sales we hit!
I will show you later some fun finds.
Yesterday I had a garden party.
Mr. SSH lovingly helped me with ALL of the umbrellas:)

I just purchased this double drink holder.
I really like them:)

Nothing says summer better than having some girlfriends
over to eat and drink with:)

What says summer to you?

I am smiling:)

Good Thursday to you:)
I hope you are well.
I LOVE it when something is put together that makes me smile!

Everything about this makes me smile:)

I got the candle holder on clearance at Pottery Barn.
I LOVE the rusticness of it:)

The gorgeous hydrangeas are from my yard.

You already know my love of sedum:)

Do you have something in your house that makes you smile?

California Adventure

Good Tuesday to you:)
I have been wanting to share with you
some of the pictures I took at California Adventure.
I am not a roller coaster loving, high heights kind of a gal:)
I spent my time people watching and scenery watching.

Walking into Carrs land is like walking straight into the movie.

I wanted to bring this sign home with me:)

And the flowers...

The scenery was so pretty:)

Happy Tuesday!
