How do I love thee:)

Happy Friday to you all:)

I thought I would finish up my love of Goodwill list today.
I could go on and on:)

9.
This pretty vintage looking bracelet.

10.
This fun glass necklace.

11.
Fun little purses.

12.
Fun knitted and handmade purses.

The thing I love most about  Goodwill is that you find unique semi one of a kind things.
It is fun to be different.
It is fun to see things you might never consider wearing.

Yesterday my husband and I went to Goodwill on our way to get his pop.  He found some electronic doodad for $1.99.
He was so excited because that would have cost him over $20.
We buy our ski equipment there use it and re sell it on Craigslist.
The next time you are in need of something, check out Goodwill.

Happy Friday to all and to all a good day!

How do I love thee let me count the ways:)

Good Thursday morning:)
I hope you are all enjoying your break.
Wayne is home and our days have been spent playing board games and the wii.
My right arm is so sore due to my battles with the pros on wii tennis.
My entire body hurts due to just dance 3 on wii.
My body will need a break after this vacation.

I thought I would add more than one new reason I love Goodwill today:

1.
I keep smiling everytime I look at this amazing mirror:)

2.
I love the way this looks with the mirror.

3.
This lighted tree.

4.

Someone is really creative and talented!
I LOVE it.

5.

These vintage looking trees.

6.

The faux snow for .50.
The reindeer.
The pinecone shaped soap.

6.
Another vintage looking tree.

The big tree.
The silver tree candle.
More faux snow.

The tree candles.

Goodwill is an amazing place especially this time of year.
I would love to know what you have found that you love at Goodwill:)

Happy Thursday!

How do I love thee let me count the ways:)

Yesterday I showed you the first reason I love Goodwill:

Here is reason number 2:

Isn't it pretty?

It is always such a treat to find cool things at Goodwill:)

I hope you are enjoying this dark and dreary Wednesday.

It is baking day.

Good Wednesday afternoon:)

I hope you have all had a terrific day.

We have hunkered down and gotten some baking done:)

Let me first say that I am not the best baker around:)

We decorated... sort of.

They don't look the best but they sure taste good:)

Dylan mad a ginger bread house.

What a cutie he is:)

I hope you all have had fun baking and creating:)

A new to me gift shop.

Happy Sunday to you:)

We are having such fun with this little elf!

The entire Bethany area probably knows that Bliss Cupcakes now has a gift store.

It has been there for a year!

I just heard about it.

What a darling shop.

They have a lot of cute products.

Here are a few things I brought home:

They have the cutest gift card bags.
I decided to hang mine as decor.

I think this was supposed to be a bookmark.
I love it as a sign:)

This is a fun place to get little extras for decor or for a gift.

Maybe at least one of you learned something new today:)

I hope your Sunday is wonderful.

Our newest edition to the family:)

Happy Wednesday to you:)

Yesterday while at a friends house I spied their family elf.
I was intrigued.
I have never read the story of the elf on the shelf.
Their elf watches over them the month of December to make sure they are good.
The elf flies to the North Pole each night to report to Santa.
The next day they have candy in their advent calendar and the elf  is in a new place.

Today I was at a friends house who lives in Forest Grove.
What a cute town that is:)
I spied this in an antique store:

Isn't he cute?

I can't wait to make him part of our family:)
Thanks Tanya for the idea!

I hope your evening is wonderful.

The dying of the tree.

Yesterday we got our Christmas tree.

As Wayne finished cutting the tree Sammy said "it is the dying of the tree".

We laughed so hard:)

It is always such fun when we find the tree we can all agree on.

Sammy

and

Dylan

count how old our tree is.

It is ten years old.

Our usual tree farm was closed this year.

We usually get hot chocolate from the tree farm.

Not this year.

So we got out our Santa mugs and had some hot chocolate:)

Every year we cut off a part of the trunk and all sign it.

I would love to hear about your traditions regarding your tree:)

Happy Monday to you all.

People pay that?

Happy Friday to you:)

I hope this finds you well.

I found a hurricane at Goodwill that was pretty wobbly.
The screw had been stripped.
I talked them down from $13.99 and they gave it to me as is for $9.99.
I took it home and asked my handy dandy husband if he could fix it.
He did!

This hurricane is from Williams Sonoma.
I looked up how much it retails for.
$239 not on sale, $166 on sale.

You have got to be kidding me right?
Who buys this?
Can you imagine how much fun you could have with $166?
My brain cannot comprehend this kind of spending.
I am so glad someone thought it was broken for life:)

I hope your weekend is fabulous!

Crafting, crafting, just keep crafting.

Happy beautiful sunny Thursday to you:)

Isn't that sunset breath taking?

What a fun day I have had:)

I sat out on my front porch this morning for two hours with a friend soaking up the sun!

We didn't even have jackets on.

I then got to go to a friends house and do a craft project with her and another friend.

The banner says NOEL.
You can find instructions here:

When I got home I was itching to do more crafts.

While going through my crafts I found a Styrofoam tree and burlap ribbon.

I got out my glue gun and started gluing.

I also got my glitter out and had some fun.

Whooooo!
What a perfect day.

Sun, good friends, glue and glitter.

Hope your day was just as perfect.

Spread your flowers farther.

Good evening:)

Happy Wednesday to you all.

I love this time of the year with the fresh tree smell in the house.

I don't know why I don't think to bring in clippings of evergreens other times of the year.

I was able to spread a $4.99 bouquet of flowers into many throughout the house:

Yikes, someone should really clean that vase!

I love the white with the silver.

I bought some silver cleaner but am still debating whether to keep it the way it is or clean it.

There is something to be said for the patina on old silver.

I hope your day finishes well!
